About us
Meet Joe Gray
J and E Home Maintenance Partners LLC is the home repair and maintenance company behind renovaterivervalley.com, founded in 2026 by Joe Gray. Behind the new name are 25 years of fixing, remodeling and maintaining homes, and a simple promise: show up, be straight with you, and do the job right.
Joe’s story
- 1997–1999
Madison Area Technical College
Trade and technical training at MATC in Madison, Wisconsin: the foundation for everything that followed.
- 2001
EPA certified
Earned his EPA certification, and has kept it current ever since.
- 2001–2012
Real estate developer and remodeler
Eleven years buying, remodeling and developing property. Kitchens, baths, paint, drywall, flooring and the hundred small jobs that turn a tired house into a home someone wants.
- 2002
Pool certified
Added pool certification, so he could keep the pools and equipment on his properties safe and running.
- 2012–2024
Multi-family maintenance supervisor
Twelve years in charge of maintenance for apartment communities. When something broke, at any hour, Joe was the one who got the call, and the one who made sure it was fixed right.
- 2026
Founded J and E Home Maintenance Partners LLC
Started the company, and its website at renovaterivervalley.com, to bring that same show-up-and-fix-it approach to homeowners in Fort Smith and the River Valley.

What that means for you
Twelve years as the person apartment communities called when something broke taught Joe two things: most problems are smaller than they look if you catch them early, and nobody wants to be told “we’ll get to it.”
So J and E Home Maintenance Partners works the way he always has. You get a free, clear estimate before any work starts, honest updates while it’s going, one person to call, and a house left as clean as he found it.
